Mothering Matters: Early Interaction Influences Adult Mental Health

Stephen Buka, professor of community health, and Lewis Lipsitt, professor emeritus of psychology,  co-authored a study recently published in in the Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health showing that early interactions between mother and child can influence mental health well into adulthood. We sat down with Buka to discuss the study as well as some of his other pioneering research at Brown.
