UPDATE: If your Matlab installation uses the “Network Concurrent License” (CFARM), there is nothing you need to do at that client side. Once the license is updated on CFARM, which is scheduled for May 22, the warning messages will disappear.
As you may be aware, Brown’s current Matlab license is about to expire.
If you have the TAH “Designated Computer License” version of Matlab installed (Matlab obtained directly from Mathworks), please request your users to follow these simple instructions on this page to renew their Matlab license for another year:
https://wiki.brown.edu/confluence/display/CISDOC/Updating+your+Matlab+Designated+Computer+License
https://wiki.brown.edu/confluence/display/CISDOC/Updating+your+Matlab+Designated+Computer+License
If you should miss updating your license by the end of the grace period (end of this Month), users may be required to enter their Mathworks username (brown email address) and password to re-activate Matlab.
We are happy to say that the “Image Acquisition Toolbox” is now part of the license for everyone to use.
Please contact the CIS Help Desk if the renewal is unsuccessful.
