Too hot to walk to your meeting? Why not try a Google+ hangout instead?
Google+ Hangouts allow up to 10 people to participate in a video chat. You can also collaborate on (simultaneously edit) a Google Doc, share your screen, watch a YouTube video, draw diagrams, and more.
To get started, you need to sign up for Google+. For more information about hangouts, see the video on this page: About Google+ Hangouts. For Brown-specific information about Google+, see our Overview of Google+.
If you already use Hangouts, check out some of the useful new add-ons listed under the Apps tab in a hangout. For example, the app Cacoo lets you collaborate on complex diagrams.
