The Information Security Group (ISG) is alerting the community of a phishing email supposedly from Intuit regarding payrolls and transfers of funds. Due to the recent move to Workday, we wanted to assure you that it is indeed a scam and has nothing to do with Workday or Brown payroll activity.
While the email looks suspicious (sent to multiple recipients, several formatting errors, nothing verifying it is from Intuit), we wanted to clear up any confusion it may have caused.
As usual, ISG advises that you not click on any links and recommends that before deleting the email you report it as phishing (click on the down arrow to the right of the REPLY button and select “Report phishing”).
