Sometimes “gotcha’s” are annoying or embarrassing, like Uncle Frank’s practical jokes on April 1st. Other times, however, they can be disruptive or worse, such as accepting an offer of a free iPad because you were lucky enough to be randomly selected from all Gmail users … and then discovering that a keylogger was installed to capture your login information and your identity was stolen. Now that’s a “gotcha” no one finds funny!
This October ISG is celebrating National Cyber Security Awareness Month by offering several opportunities — both online and in person — to help you STOP the Gotcha’s and GO CyBear SMART. Join us for a Brown Bag, at the Safety Resource Fair or take one of our quizzes, and then enter the contest to win great prizes, including an iPad (this offer is legit!).
