Dr. Robert Hurt to present talk on nanosafety to Nanoscale Science, Engineering, and Technology (NSET) Subcommittee

Dr. Robert Hurt, leader of Research Project 6 has been invited to give a talk to the Nanotechnology Environmental and Health Implications (NEHI) working group of the Nanoscale Science, Engineering, and Technology (NSET) Subcommittee on nanosafety as part of the National Nanotechnology Initiative (NNI). The NSET is the interagency body responsible for coordinating the NNI, the Federal program that oversees Nanotechnology Research and Technology.

Dr. Hurt’s talk will address the potential to design nanomaterials for safety – the “Prevention by Design” idea. This work was a collaboration with Dr. Agnes Kane, leader of Research Project 2.
