At our Nov. 18th general body meeting UCS voted on two resolutions.
The first resolution was on a UFB code change. The proposed code change would open the appeals board hearings and would add a member from BUAC and two members from URC. The code change passed without any objections.
The second resolution was a UCS code change that would allow a simple majority to pass resolutions and statements (including categorizations of student groups) as opposed to the 2/3 currently required. After much debate the resolution failed to pass. Information regarding the debate can be found in the minutes for the Nov. 18th meeting.
In addition to these resolutions UCS discussed the advising report that the AAA committee has created, increasing outdoor seating, and the now closed Fall Poll that had great student participation.
