Yellow Fever

Yellow Fever

Art by Angie Kang ’20

Author’s Note: “Yellow Fever” is a dissection of the fetishization of Asian women and the stereotypes associated with the concept. Often, individuals may court the concept of the “ideal” overly submissive, exotic Asian, putting any woman who fits in that category on a pedestal. This piece begs the question: What are you worshipping? My yellow skin is not made of paper. It is not for you to crease.
