Are you interested in writing for the International Writers’ Blog?
ABOUT IWB: The International Writers’ Blog is a platform for members of the Brown community to share stories about culture and belonging. Created five years ago, the Blog has grown into an online space for conversations about everything from identity, language, and race to culture, homesickness, and marginalization. Be it through poetry, art, fiction, or essays, here students celebrate their diversity and step outside their comfort zone. We aspire to be a safe space where students can use their distinctive voices instead of shying away from them. And no, you do not have to be “international” to join the blog!
We recruit new staff members (writers, editors, illustrators, videographers, graphic designers, and more!) twice a year, at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters. Check back Fall ’19 for information about applications. In the meantime, we’d love to hear your ideas!

I am so glad to have discovered that site. I was looking for a way to make changes and I started writing many books but I found that not enough and a slow process as writing books take time but I have that vision. As reading has changed my life and made e who I am I want to use that same tool as one of the many tools I will use to call for changes. Thank you very much. this will be a great place for me to start addressing the matters that oppose the world’s changes and justice and by writing will make the call for the urgent need of change in Individuals.
