Spring 2017 Tufts Visit!

On April 21, members met with Brown Alumna Gabi Villinueva and a couple masters program coordinators at Tufts Vet School. Gabi is graduating this spring and she gave us a tour of the facility including the small animal hospital, the large animal hospital, the anatomy lab, and the wildlife hospital where we got to see the resident one eyed owl and a bear cub. Here are some helpful links about the different programs offered at Tufts and keep an eye out for the admissions counselor Ford Barnet ([email protected]) at events in the career lab.

Exploring Roger Williams Zoo and meeting Dr. Mike McBride

Thanks to everyone who made it to the Roger Williams Zoo Trip! We had a great time exploring the park and meeting with one of the zoo’s veterinarians, Dr. Mike McBride, who gave us a tour of the veterinary facilities and answered our questions about being a zoo vet. Thanks Dr. McBride!
